Made it in safely!

After a long journey from the US to Amsterdam to Nairobi and finally, to Uganda, Katharine and I arrived at our new home for the summer after midnight last night! We met our third roommate, Elly, a business school student at Duke, and she has been great at showing us the ropes in day to day life here. There hasn't been that much time to get settled yet as we needed to come to the office this morning already to figure out our respective projects. Hopefully later today we can slip out of the office early and go to the city to pick up some essentials. More to come later, for now back to work!
